Reviews and Ratings
I found the hotel to have both positives and negatives. The rooms were very small but clean and spacious, though the strong unpleasant smell from cleaning products was off-putting. The lighting was odd with only overhead lights controlled by a single switch, which was too bright. The service was mixed, with a casual 'no worries' attitude and Spanish communication but a lack of concern about security. The location was beautiful with a pool and nice garden, although it needed some maintenance. The dining was basic with limited protein options, mostly carbohydrates, and simple breakfast choices. Overall, the hotel had its good points but also areas that could be improved.
Upon arrival at 3:30 in the afternoon, we found our room was not ready due to a late check-out from the previous occupants. The rooms had a retro feel from the 70s or 80s, but they were spacious. The check-in experience was marred by dirty and unsafe conditions.
The hotel had both positive and negative aspects. The rooms, despite being a nice size, were full of flies and hadn't been updated in at least 20 years. On the positive side, the location was great for exploring downtown nightlife and the staff were friendly and accommodating, offering early check-in and late check-out. However, the dining experience was lacking with minimal options available, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the place fell short of expectations.
